To Whom It May Concern:
As part of a plan to preserve and restore the Historic Licking County Jail (circa 1889) the Licking County Commissioners in 2010 formulated a plan to again draw interest to the unused facility in downtown Newark.
No longer in use as a County Jail, the Historic Jail is currently being cleaned-up after being used a secondary records storage site. In addition to a general cleaning of the facility and property, the County now houses a records disposal unit at the South Third Street facility.
Based on information gathered at the restored old Mansfield Reformatory, and continuing reports of unexplained noises and happenings at the old County lock-up; the County Commissioners authorized paranormal investigations in the fall of 2010 by three independent groups.
One of those groups was SEOPI based in Zanesville. As Commissioner I personally worked with the leadership of SEOPI, and found them to be very professional, prepared, well researched, and excellent at doing what they say they will do. They conducted an excellent investigation, did extensive analysis, and made an excellent presentation of the information they gathered in January of 2011.
I would highly recommend SEOPI based on my personal experience. Good people, very professional!

The S.E.O.P.I. team recently investigated the Clay Haus Restaurant in Somerset, Ohio. We found their group to be highly professional and during their time at the restaurant, they seemed to be able to bring out a certain level of activity within the building. Their group did follow-ups with us and were totally respectful and trustworthy in their use of our facility.

In late fall of 2009 I contacted SEOPI to do an investigation on my
home due to the high level of activity we had going on, the previous yr a
group from Columbus had investigated & the activity had picked up
quite intensely since then and due to that group being unable to come
back out, I was fortunate to find SEOPI.
I sent in an email through their website and almost immediately Tom
called and did a phone interview with me and set up a follow up in
home pre-investigation interview with myself and my family, we walked
through my home and we showed the group the hot spots and described some
of the activity we were having, we found Tom & Michelle to be very
thorough and professional.
Some of the activity we had occurring was footsteps, seeing full
body apparitions, feeling of a presence, objects being moved, hearing
laughter and voices, the feeling of being pushed and our hair being
pulled and even 3 of my children being held down onto their beds at
night, the activity seemed to be worse at night and especially around 3 am, we
had what can only be described as a demonic possession, we had the
spirit of a murder victim and the spirit of a teenager recently killed
in an auto accident in our home as well as many others, with the teams
help they brought in two sensitives who taught us how to retake our
space, how to clear negativity and these exercises helped a lot, with
further activity the group came back on several occasions to mini
investigate and at the height of the activity brought in a psychic medium,
she did inform us of what was exactly in our home and went about
clearing our home for us, we do still have activity but to a lot less
severe degree, The group is welcome in our home now not only as 'the
group" but as part of our family and welcome to investigate or train
here anytime.
Our family cannot express enough how much the group as a whole have
helped us, how much we appreciate them, their work, their dedication to
our family continued support. We love you Michelle, Tom, Christy,

I will start by saying how professional, kind hearted and reassuring the
S.E.O.P.I members were from the time I first spoke to them, when they
entered my home and thereafter! I had another team come into my home to
do an investigation but I must say that when it comes to professionalism
and a kind heart I would use the S.E.O.P.I from here on out!
I had contacted the team for help with issues that were going on in my home. Things were not “normal” and they were affecting my family and overall my life! When first contacted, the team listened carefully as to what was going on and they were at my home shortly after to do the investigation. When they arrived at my home, I must also note that their attire and their equipment were professional and they conducted themselves in an adult like manner. They were able to explain everything they were doing and explained all of their equipment.
While doing the investigation they were able to do a thorough investigation on all areas in a timely manner and effectively! I must say that they pulled a bit of evidence from every room! They focused mostly on my daughter’s room for the fact that they knew she was my main concern. I have to express the level of concern I had for her safety for the fact that I was told there was malevolence in the house from previous investigations. They were able to ease this very quickly!
I was told many things about my house and about the history in the house. There was only one death that I was actually able to verify correctly and that was through the funeral home! While I could not do the rest of the history investigation on my own, the S.E.O.P.I team had come down a couple days before the investigation to find all the information that they could!
I cannot express the level of fear I had the whole time living in that house, I was so emotional and afraid for my daughter’s safety as well as my newborn son. The S.E.O.P.I team was able to help me put aside these fears and take back my home! I was soon after even able to deal with the things I was forced to hear that I did not think belonged! Again, I will also express the level of professionalism and kind heartedness! They were able to pull so much evidence that when I show the evidence to even a non-believer, it turns them into a believer! Any issue that I was to face in the future with any home I may live in, this is the team I will always contact!
